Her heart may be broken right now, but it is mendable. Part of that mending is going to be coming to an understanding that this is beyond just one bad guy/monster. War is the natural disaster that people visit upon themselves. It's the gift that keeps on giving far beyond the circle of those who think they want it. Kindness by itself won't stop this. Arua's going to need some toughness in her heart until this is over.
Veja has come so very far. He started out ridiculing her goodness. Now he would do anything he can to try and protect it.
