I'm still not sure what to think about our "old friend." He seems to have a lot of information and great powers, but never really offers any guidance.

There is of Yoda much in this one, yes. He seems very content to let Arua find her own way and not butt in. And in a way, he's correct. Arua is not his student, she hasn't asked for formal training, so he stands back confident that The Light will not abandon it's own. (It won't.)

Interesting that Yoda mentioned humans and elves specifically and not "minds" in general.

Or maybe he is the secret evil. I don't know anymore.

Arua, you've missed a golden opportunity to tell him about the villain who stole the thing in the first place. Those kinds of things are important.
