When I was writing this page and the last one I was having a hard time deciding on Tirea's reaction to Arua. So I called my sister got some input and found she suggested a very rational reaction. I thought about it and decided that it wasn't fun to draw or read and didn't fit Tirea's energetic personality.

The reason I'm sharing this is because sometimes we give our advice and the person does the opposite of what we suggested. It can make if feel like that we weren't listen. But in fact it our advice had help bring clarity to a confusing situation, and the road that the create wanted to take is not the one we suggested but they only know that because we showed it to them.

Just a thought for the week. In case you missed it, there is a new extra picture in the extra gallery!

Yah, a lot about Tirea doesn't strike me as 100% rational. She seems way too infatuated with a stranger she just met. And now jealous over not really anything. She knows nothing at all about Arua, and Veja introduced her as his "friend" not "intimate companion." So yah, this female thinks she's going off the deep end without an oar to paddle the water with.

Understand, I know jealous; I just don't feel she has reason for it yet. In fact, if you want honesty, she's not coming across so much as energetic right now as she is borderline unhinged.

I see what your saying about unhinged. I've been worried along time about Tirea because I feel like she may over lap to much with Arua personality. So a little bit of experimentation is going on here.

But then again experimentation is all this comic has been.

Experimentation is wonderful. Experimentation is what makes art live and breathe. It's why you've improved so much as both artist and storyteller. I have avoided mentioning the grammar/spelling thing Trig mentioned because I felt you were aware of that already. You should never stop experimenting until you can't lift a pen anymore.

That said I don't think you ever had to worry too much about Tirea and Arua overlapping. They already started out as polar opposites: Arua was the shy sequestered priestess in training pretty much all her young life, while Tirea was out in the world getting her hands dirty with the machinery. You already had a mechanism in place to give them completely different but complimentary personalities. Tirea doesn't have to be a sex maniac, or even semi-maniac. She's a nerd: that puts her at 90-degrees to Arua right there.

But I'm going to watch the story unfold. You do good work, so I know something is going on under the surface.

Your extra pics look amazing. Your art style has come a long way since your early drawings. I really like "Aura Hero" - it has an epic feel.

Yes I am planing to do a Christmas picture.

Guess it will need to be next week because Christmas is on a Sunday this year!
