The armor I like VERY much. The gold sets off her hair and eye color, and the steel goes really well with her blue clothing. I have to wonder about her lack of military training here: does she only feel she needs armor on her sword side, or is her left side going to be her Archon power side and she feels armor there would either be superfluous, or even restricting.
Or is she just not that familiar with the use of Practical Armor(tm)*.
And the tail piece does cover up her beautiful butt, but hopefully it does provide some protection there.
All in all, love the look and would like to see her maintain it after this adventure. But a part of me wonders it it is too much? Whether it makes her look more of a soldier and less of a...Archon?
That makes no sense to me right now, but it's what part of me is saying.
And the extra bandana is chest protection, right Veja?
*Term coined by me back in Book One.
The armor she is wearing is based on the Samnite Gladiator. Which was a type of gladiator who had armor on one arm a shield on the other arm and wore a helmet.
I add leg armor in place of the Helmet so we can see her face. The shield I thought about using but instead have gone more with a larger sword and plan to use magic more. The cloth thing on her butt is a reference to the Titan mark from Destiny. A game I may have a like hate relationship with but dang the concept art still makes me want the game it was drawn for.
As a extra here is Cer'veja style. He is based on the adventure hero such as Rick O'Connell, Nathan Drake, Indianan Jones and so forth. The bandanna around the neck is resemblance of that as well as the knife on the leg armor resembling a drop down holster.
So sorry no practical armor yet. As far as the power ranger pose, well I only had one episode on VHS when I was a kid and aside from that I didn't watch Power rangers. So that is a coincidence.
