So Well I had plan planned on talking about my thoughts on the Dragon flight expansion something more important came up. My little sister is doing a kickstarter! So here she is in her own words to tell you about it!

I’ve decided to be brave.

Last month, I was diagnosed with PCOS and high insulin resistance—already our medical bills are piling up. For someone trying to start a family, this news is devastating. Even more so when I can barely scrape together enough funds to launch books without long-term medical expenses.

The response to publishing my first two books has been amazing. I’m no hot-shot-indie-author, but I’ve sold a couple hundred copies and have been featured on amazon’s best seller list twice. But, with the upcoming financial and emotional challenges of treating my conditions, I’m not sure how I’m going to publish book 3 in September.

I’m so torn.

Shelf all my hard work on publishing? For 2 years, I’ve been working night and day to continue the story fans love. I’ve worked so hard on these books, stopping now makes me want to cry and I’d be letting down so many readers if I end my career here.

Or, give up on the one thing my husband and I have always wanted? It physically hurts sometimes thinking about my body not being able to conceive a child, and I will do anything to have children. Even if it means sacrificing my dreams as an author.

Maybe I don’t have to.

This Kickstarter is a way for me to earn enough to pay for editing, cover design, and the marketing needed to launch another book without having to jeopardize our efforts in treating my conditions. I don’t like the idea of asking for handouts, which is why I didn’t start a GoFundMe. Instead, I worked even harder to create rewards to express my gratitude to those who choose to support me. The cut off for sign ups is May 4th. Excess proceeds will go towards improving quality of the 3rd book or to the future baby fund as needed.

Please—help me keep two dreams alive.

Wishing your sister the best of luck on the kickstarter. I bought the first book, and will be purchasing the second one soon.

he first complete week of April: 4/3 - 4/9; GRATZ harvested 231 total votes, for an average of 33.0 votes/day, and landed at #92 on the Top Webcomic List.

For the Second week of April: 4/10 - 4/16; the comic found 257 Total Eggs, for an average of 36.71 eggs/day, and ended the week at #77 in the Top Basket.

In the Third week of April: 4/17 - 4/23; the comic had a nice total of 257 total votes, for an average again of 36.71 votes/day, and ended the week at. . . .

I can't say it.


Ok, somebody HAS to, so for last week GRATS ended the week at...#69 ontheTopWebcomiclist.
