Tirea's got an idea, someway to deal with a stick thrower.

So I finished Halo Infinite and here are my thoughts.

It's good! It's nice to see the return to a more Halo like style and game. Grunts are fun Marines are fun. The combat loop is good. Over all it's good!

Some of the best moments where loading up a Razer back with Marines and storming a Banished base. or a "level" of the game called "The road" These moments felt like pure and classic Halo for me.

However their are a few things that just didn't workout for it.

Open world
I don't think the open world works. Open level like the part where you take out AA guns that was shown last year. That works. But a whole open world just doesn't quite work because it limits strong encounter moments. Things like touching down on a beach under fire from Halo 1 and 3 are cool moments that open up a level. But if you can pick how to engage a enemy base then you can't script a moment as tightly set as that. So I don't think the Open world works. It looks nice and was a good attempt but I don't the trade of was worth it.

One shot camera style
This was cool to see in the new God of War but it doesn't work here. It's easier to transfer from a 3d person camera to a floating camera then from a first person camera to a floating camera. It just looks strange and there is a lot of weird movement going on of just spinning around the room.

lack of Marines
This is actually part of the original development problem. The game takes place over a few hours. Before Jason Staten was brought back into Halo for this last year of extra development, Halo Infinite had lack of Marines in the game. This all points to a original version of the game that had a much smaller group of heroes and I think was missing some of that key personality of Halo. The limited scope of the story didn't let Staten do much to fix that other then add more Marines to rescue and such which is good but it just a left over limitation that did bother me.

Over all. ya Halo Infinite is great and I hope the next one builds on is success even more.

Tirea isn't a stealth fighter; but, Amore isn't expecting a stealth approach at all, so how will this push the equation....

We started Decembmoo with just 4 days: 12/1 - 12/4, and Santa Arua gave to GRATZ 79 total votes, for an average of 19.75 votes/day, landing the sleigh in dock #125 on the Top Webcomic List.

On week 2 of Decembmoo: 12/5 - 12/11; GRATZ true loves gave to it 110 total votes, for an average of 15.71 votes/day, placing the comic at #125 on the pear tree Top Webcomic List.

For week 3 of Decembmoo: 12/12 - 12/18; the Grinch only put 79 total votes under the GRATZ Christmas tree, for an average 11.29 votes/day, and kicking the comic back down to #132 on the Whoville Top Webcomic list.

Yes, Tirea, throw the weapons as a distraction and then shoot. That's definitely what you need to do. Just toss 'em into the air.

I played a bit of the multiplayer last night because I'm waiting for some improvements to the campaign first before I go and play it. I wasn't too impressed with it, honestly, and it doesn't quite feel like Halo anymore. It's close but not very much. I like the vault feature but the slide doesn't feel very useful to me. It belongs more in a CoD game than Halo. I also miss the weapons and equipment laying around haphazardly on the map. The tech deployment is cool, but I don't want to have to wait for someone to drop dead to pick up another weapon from a spot.
