"Almost" a comic without words. Didn't need them as you managed the considerable feat of conveying each character's feelings with their facial expression alone. Good job.The soldiers probably decided Veja's bandanna didn't post any threat as armor...or they didn't want to touch it. Didn't seem to bother them with the ladies' clothing. Savages.

They are either unaware that Arua doesn't *need* armor, or they figure that guns trained on her companions are an adequate measure.

Unaware of Arua's powers. But because Cer'veja and Tirea where both out cold she surrendered because she couldn't keep them safe with that many people advancing on her.

I assumed she did that. I figured even if she could throw a shield around all of them, attempting to maintain that shield while fighting would either be a strain, or unreliable.

I guess it's good that my characters are consistent enough that readers can understand why they do what they do with out me needing to spell it out.
