My sister is a massage therapist, so when ever she hears Enya she has a pavlov response to start working on someone. It's a lot of fun to trigger at random times.

I can't repeat a selection, so no Styx. I decided to go in a different direction fitting the mood depicted:

"I have my ship, and all her flags are a flying'.
"She is all that I have left, and MUSIC is her naaaaame...."

I don't understand the weekends, can someone explain to me? It's predictable: good voting through the week, Saturday & Sunday, flatline. This was last week: 11, 11, 6, 14, 8, 1, 2.... Today 11 votes again. *shrug*

Next month Imma gonna have to start tracking the competition on a regular basis. Just from a cursory glance, I don't understand how some of the comics in the top 200 end up there. Yes, there are the outstanding ones like Freefall, and Housepets; but, there are a number of "Who?" "this isn't even good art".... And of course, a number of them are porn, including some of the highest rated. The Internet is good at something.

We're still looking at record month: today we're #335, and for the comic a breath-taking 170 votes. Unless something drastic happens I'm predicting we'll end up mid to lower 300's. This is really such a huge jump it's wonderful to see. I just wish it weren't dropping off over the weekend so much; it would probably be even higher if the voting was constant.

So, bottom line, multiple one-page updates are not hurting, and may very well be helping. Still want to see this next 2 weeks to be sure.

I do wonder how about the reader to voter ratio with the higher performing comics. It is quite possible that Gratz just doesn't have as large of a reader base and that is causing a lagging in votes.

I don't believe the vote is lagging, truthfully. I think that through the week it's probably proportional. And I wouldn't be as concerned if it were completely consistent. I would feel happier if we were seeing that 10-11 votes every day, but we don't. Instead it's good Monday - Friday, then it's like everyone disappears until Monday again. I've thought about it, and it's become so consistent I don't know whether a Friday update would do anything to change it.

Halloween Arua is lovely as always. I...love that skirt...*cough*. But my anime sense is failing me. Those crossbow vials look familiar, and all the silverish crosses are trying to suggest a character, but I can't pull it out of my brain. It's a wonderful picture though.

I ripped the crossbow off of Van Helsing, and it's really not from anything just some kind of witch/vampire hunter thing. Figure if your going after evil one better have silver crosses on hand.
